Sorry for the delay in posts but there just isn't much to post about. Saban is still in denial as stated in a press conference today where he said "What happens in Alabama, happens in Alabama and what happens here is what I am worried about". You make your own conclusions from that.
The Alabama basketball team looked great last night on the road @ N.C. State. The final score was closer than the game actually was. Steele played well, Hendrix had a great game, Gee was steady with a little foul trouble early and Riley looked well. It was good to see them play so well on the road to lead by as many as 23 at one point in the 2nd half. I only wished they would have went ahead and closed the game and not let them draw to within 7 at the final.
I will keep my eyes and ears open for anything new and if you run across anything feel free to post and let me know.

It's time to send Saban and all of the other coaches packing to Alabama. As for the quarterback problems, if we would have drafted Brees instead of Jamal Fletcher think where we could be by now.

But you know Saban wont go with Lemon. It took him 4 weeks to finally pull the plug on Culpepper and about 6-7 weeks to finally insert Bell in the starting lineup.
There is something to be said about Saban being a bad gameday coach. I think his gameplanning is horrible. To me he's nothing but a mediocre coach that will never have sucess in the NFL.
If he doesn't show me the playoffs next year, the Saban experiment is over. F**K all these retread Qbs. You messed up by not drafting a young stud your first year here and now you pay bytch!

I agree with Nate,
Ron brown was never worth a #2 overall pick. Unfortunately no one else looked like they were either in the 2005 draft. We couldn't trade down. Unlike this years crop of Bush, Young and Leinart. But it is very apparent that things would have worked out exactly the same with Morris as the starter

WE were out coached again! I think this was the game that definately proved a few things. Harrington changed teams but he still sucks, mcmichael can't catch. Chambers likes to watch cornerbacks run in front of him and catch the ball. He doesn't come back to the ball or play db when cornerback's going to intercept a pass. Yes, we should definately pickup nate as a free agent and put him at wide reciever, because he catches more passes than our recievers do.
Mularkey is full of himself, armstrong must go too.
Saban.if they don't fire him, should let Mueller do all the personell decisions and keep his away from it because he's worse than Spellman.
They should give Lemon a shot, because Joey is Joey and you know what he can do,"throw interceptions" and he can't win a game by himself only loose one. You might actually see a better quarterback in Lemon. And Saban has a knack for waiting too long to make changes.
Other notes: they talked all week about Jacksonvilles "Tall" recievers, and then couldn't come up with a plan to stop em. They talked about Lee evans, who by the way is much better than Chambers, and they couldn't stop him either.
There recievers didn't seem to "drop the ball",
Losman had what 141 rating? Joey, the big "0"
Booker, the only reciever that can catch, left the game. Man am i pissed, Jason allen can't defend and Hagan can't catch, Other people's 5th & 7th rounders are doing better than our 1st & third and then you count Culpepper as a second & you have a wasted draft. please God don't let Saban make anymore personell decisions.

I would be OK with that, if Saban "The Arrogant One" would have done that with Culpepper. We bet we would be have eight wins right now. B

Talk about needing to get on with it. Nick Saban should take a hike to the nearest bridge an leap. he cant coach at all.

Will we ever make the playoffs again? I guess not with this coach. Life needs breathing into the fracnhise and saban is not the answer for that. Saban has sucked the life out of the players and they dont care to play hard.

What is the deal with playing that bad qb when we have limon on the bench. Saban has made thhe worst choices in deciding to not lead us for victories. Kick the field goal today at least we could have scored. I think we need to get a new coach in like Pete Carol. he likes the sun of california, he will like our sun too.
